RGU FILM FESTIVAL continued into 2018 improving on what came before.
Again, working with Belmont Filmhouse and the RGU Student Union, the RGU Film Society put on a highly successful event on the 1st and 2nd of April, 2018.
This year, they received more than 140 submissions from Scotland and around the world. These were narrowed down to 27 of the best, and these were shown to the public.
The Winners of the festival:
- BEST FILM & BEST STUDENT FILM: TETE A TETE
- BEST NON-STUDENT FILM: AFTERWORD
Thanks to the growing success of the Society and the Festival, RGU Film Society was again honoured at the RGU Student Achievement Awards in 2018. They won the award for SOCIETY OF THE YEAR and received a SILVER QUALITY MARK.

This was yet another successful year for RGU FILM SOCIETY and RGU FILM FESTIVAL in which both really got into their stride!
